I was recently involved in recording the latest annual conference for ICTR. ICTR is an umbrella organisation which represents the Irish charity sector and involves itself in lobbying for change in areas such as taxation on NGOs and regulation of the charity sector.
The event took place in the Ashling Hotel near Heuston station in Dublin and included speakers such as Archbishop of Dublin Diarmuid Martin, Minister for Justice & Equalilty Frances Fitzgerald TD and CEOs of various charities. Themes touched upon included recent controversies over pay within the charity sector as well as ongoing campaigns in the application of Vat on charities.
You can find a more detailed report on the event as well as downloads of the speeches from many of the key speakers on the ICTR website.
If you would like to watch the full videos from the event you can check out ICTR’s Youtube page here.
